The Louisiana post-production “Post-Up LA” gathering will meet again on September 29th
The bell rings at Emporium Arcade Bar and a composer squares off with a VFX supervisor in a mud-filled kiddie pool. The two grapple until the bell rings again, they shake hands, and then wander off together to play some Skee-Ball.
This…is probably not how the Louisiana post-production workers meet-up is gonna go. But one can dream, and if you’re a Louisiana artist in post-production, it’s time for Round Three of a night of professional camaraderie and networking.
Organizer Maggie Groh posted an invitation to Discord. It’s kind of like the Batman spotlight in Gotham, except for Louisiana post-production, everyone is Batman. Here’s the invite:

Howdy and Happy Monday ma friends! Have a super fun networking event once again for your attendance and participation.
When: Friday, September 29th, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Where: Emporium Arcade Bar – 2231 St. Claude Ave., New Orleans
What: A very fun arcade bar with skee-ball, pool, foosball, arcade games, and lovely people!
